Robert Roach (the principal driving force) wears many creative & managerial hats. He & his INTREPID production team head Black Inc! Imprints/Hometown Productions. In terms of his comics work, Robert's IP spans from ancient Egypt's lore to Chicago's prohibition era to a “Conan-like” warrior—& more. His comic, The Roach, won the inaugural Glyph “Rising Star” award for excellence in independent publishing. It’s a throwback to old noir style stories but pushes boundaries beyond predecessors like “The Spirit” or “The Shadow.”

Another of Robert's acclaimed comics, Menthu, is set in present day Los Angeles & based on Egyptian mythology with its hero discovering his god-like roots. Robert writes & illustrates an action serial—published bi-weekly on Patreon—for his character Ithuriel. This warrior's initial odyssey traverses Africa & Asia, incorporating many ancient cultures & mythologies. Lastly, another story, Kenny and Puppy, is in development. Its tag line is “a boy and his hellhound” and the narrative is set in the turbulent 1960s. Robert is repped by Storied Media Group (SMG).
